About Us

Our Story

Gabe Adams was just 13 when he began learning the ins and outs of the claw machine. He wanted one, but it was too expensive. So that year he decided to start small and grow a vending business. After receiving money at Christmas to help him buy a Nintendo DS, he changed his mind and used the money instead to buy a professional-grade gumball machine and a box of gumballs. He quickly found a location through the help of the manager at Camel City BBQ in Winston-Salem, and then Covid struck. Afterwards, as businesses began to allow vendors back in, he once again placed his machine.

Over the next couple of years, he would go on to reinvest his earnings and eventually had candy and toy vending machines at more than 10 locations throughout Winston-Salem. He kept them meticulously maintained and stocked, and he learned quickly what would sell best in each location.

In the meantime, Gabe studied arcade and claw machines and learned how they operated and how to repair them.

On March 10, 2023, at the age of just 16, Gabe died in an automobile accident. He was three months away from purchasing his first claw machine; the goal he’d started out with at age 13.
,

His father, Lee Adams, is woking to see Gabe’s dream through, purchased that first claw machine, and is continuing Gabe’s dream of owning an arcade and vending business.

Today we are a small business that cares passionately about what we do and the people we serve. To us, each person has immeasurable value. We hope that with this business we can help bring a little joy into the lives of others. We also aspire to the future goal of setting up a business scholarship in honor of Gabe.
